ABDUL RAUF has been in the area of Human Capital Management for over 30 years. He has held positions in the Ministry of Human Resources, RCA Sdn. Bhd and Nestle (M) Sdn Bhd. He has retired from Nestle Malaysia since January 2003 and is now involved in Human Capital Advisory Services including Training and Development.
Abdul Rauf is an experienced practitioner and his experience in various organizations. For example, while at RCA Sdn Bhd, he was involved in the growth of the company in the area of Human Resources Management. In Nestle, he strengthened both his human capital management and industrial relations knowledge and practices. He was part of the team that led the company's restructuring programmes and industrialization initiatives. As a licensed Kepne- Tregoe Trainer in "Problem Solving and Decision Making", he had conducted and facilitated programmes for the Management Staff.
He was also trained in Kostick PAPI (Perception and Preference Inventory), a Recruitment and Management tool organized by PA Management Consultant, London.He has also attended Management Programmes in the United States and in Switzerland.
Abdul Rauf graduated from the University of Malaysia with an Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology. He obtained his Masters Degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Stirling, Scotland, United Kingdom.
