SALMAH BASRI, an independent consultant, is a business partner of Omni View since December 2003. She is contracted to Omni View on a project basis, particularly on projects where her consultancy expertise is required.

She brings with her more than ten years experience in line HR management, holding senior positions in a few companies. She had worked in Makro Cash & Carry Distribution Sdn. Bhd, Shah Alam as Human Resource Director where she introduced assessment tools which were relevant for the various job grades and assessment centre concept for recruitment of management trainees.

Salmah has worked in Avon Cosmetics (M) Sdn Bhd, Petaling Jaya as Human Resource Director. She implemented a key project in Avon in 1996 when Avon diversified into franchising to improve product accessibility. One of the key initiatives undertaken was to assess the competency of the existing field sales force of 35 Sales Managers against the new set of required competencies so as to identify the gap and determine the appropriate training required.

She has extensive experience in the overall Human Resource functions in particular developing long-term HR strategies to attract, retain and develop high performing employees. Salmah had used the Harrison Innerview Profiling System extensively during her tenure at Avon and Makro for recruitment and promotion purposes.
